Thank you for keeping score. My anger and despair is made worse by only being able to share with other members of the ‘choir.’ Even Christian friends who are on our side are afraid to share. We need Rabbis and Pastors to speak to their congregations.

Thank you for continuing to keep track and connecting the dots that create the same picture. Have a peaceful Shabbat. Shabbat Shalom.

Already drafting my piece about this, thank you!

I have recently been seeing multiple reports about the inability of Jewish authors -- of any nationality -- to find publishers for work of any kind and of the impossibility of "pitching" fiction or screenplays with Jewish central characters. This industry blacklisting weighs heaviest on creatives without celebrity profiles and incomes. The cultural erasure it's effecting should frighten us all.

That has been my experience too. Grim.

It's also happening in academic medical and nursing journals.

I always look forward to reading anything you write, because it always offers brilliant insight as well as honesty devoid of optics. I did not know that Boy George had that history, ( I suppose because he was excused for it) nor did I realize that the song was created using AI. I have always had disdain for Gwyneth's Goop and disenchantment for a politicized Mrs. Rachel who makes me equally naesauted and disturbed for mainstreaming Muslim Brotherhood propaganda to the youngest in our homes (something the MB themselves have only thus far achieved via UNWRA in Gaza) and what a damaged youth they gleefully imagine are being raised in some appropriate and holy manner.

Thank you for being you. We are blessed to have such a scorekeeper.

Thank you! The most important thing I can do with this platform is give you the whole truth. I trust my readers’ intelligence.

It’s powerful how you weave this story together, with such matter of factness - it’s your superpower. And it’s our anchor because facts matter, especially when we’re so emotional about something like this. I reported on the Barber Butch French DJ story this week for Ark News Daily -around the same time I listened to the buzz against George Michaels. Jewish Artists are on the frontlines because people pay for the vulnerability and access to their souls only to trample them when is in vogue. I was a musician for many years before I turned the mic volume down to talk instead. I wonder what kind of spokesperson I would’ve been with a guitar in my hand.

Is there a way to express our gratitude to Boy George for standing with us?

Hen Mazzig's avatar

I’ve seen many folks posting their gratitude and he has engaged with them. I know he saw the support.

Thank you for putting this together and highlighting the extreme antisemitism ( I refuse to see it as anti-Israel or Israeli government as there are plenty of examples of other countries where governments are truly doing bad things and they are not facing multiple enemies seeking their annihilation and their supporters are being "cancelled"). Boy George has gone up in my estimation despite his past. PS Australia is top of the pops when it comes to antisemitism but the poms seem to want to beat them at this as they can't beat them at cricket.

Thank you for all you do...it means the world...for real actually.

It is astounding that even when Palestinians murder and rape concertgoers at a music festival, they are still seen as the “good guys.”

I stand with Boy George.

Instead of complaining about the return of business as usual you should be celebrating the fact that we had nearly 80 years of respite, during the Postwar Enlightenment 2.0, when antisemitism took a back seat to the holocaust. Those days are now gone, victim to historical entropy as humanity resumes its long march from barbarism to decadence. We had a great run, which I have been fortunate to have enjoyed for over 70 years. We cannot rest on our laurels. We must take the bull by the tail and face head on the recrudescence of 1000+ years of antisemitism.
